Please come play in Michigan!
You know I love your work, but I have to say that I wasn't joking when I told you that your music has become my writing soundtrack or that you make love to your guitar rather than simply play it. It's so wonderful to see you express yourself with such emotion as you play much as I express myself whenever I write. I might just have to add a fourth poetry collection to my list of on the go projects besides the novels I'm working on at the moment. I'll send you the details as I really want to do this now.
I will tell you what is "Easy to Love" and that is your entire CD Tabula Rasa. It is a magnificent album and I absolutely love listening to your music. I really appreciate the variety of the different pieces. Your guitar work on every cut is so captivating and the songs are sublime. The song Lighthouse is particularly lovely. Also, Antoine Dufour did a wonderful job of producing it. It's just simply splendid. Maybe someday I will be fortunate enough to be able to see you perform in concert. It is something to look forward to. Blessings!
We saw Calum perfom in "het Keizershof" in Turnhout Belgium on the 17th September 2016 .
I "discovered" him on Spotify a few weeks before on a CD "Acoustic concentration" (his amazing "farewell) It was his only performance in Belgium. He is very talented indeed, humble, honest. So glad I was there.
My friend and very good photographer Alain made some beautiful pictures of the concert.
Let's hope we see Calum again soon in Belgium (N9 Eeklo)
We saw Calum Graham perform at Remenyi House of Music on August 5th. I simply cannot say enough about his talent. I am not a guitarist (rather, I am the mother of two guitarists), but I can tell you he is an exceptionally talented musician who clearly LOVES what he is doing. Although he performed for just a small crowd of people, he didn't hold back. Every song was infused with emotion and expression. But what struck me most about Calum was his human side. He is humble, honest, and so willing to connect with "regular" people who love his music. He even took time at the end of his performance to jam with two young boys who were over the moon about his generosity. I will follow Calum's career for sure, and I can only hope to get a chance to see him perform again some day soon!
